What we do...
We transfer photographs to CD storage or create a Slide Show on DVD (can
be viewed as a DVD movie) or on CD for viewing on your computer. We can
scan printed photos, slides or 35mm film negatives, or work with digital
pictures stored on a memory card or photo CD. Please note that we cannot
transfer pictures from a 110 disc. Unless otherwise requested, all
pictures may be cropped with "standard" color and contrast corrections applied. More comprehensive corrections and/or "repairs"
may be applied
for an additional fee (see prices above) after
consultation with the customer. All the
pictures are then collected onto a CD or data DVD (only if the pictures won't
fit on a CD), or converted into a custom Slide Show (for a couple of brief
examples, please look here).
The Slide Show option requires the most customer involvement of all the "format conversions" that we do because it is extremely customizable. You can have multiple slide shows per DVD. You have the option to have text displayed with each picture, background music for each slide show (even music you supply, see below) and, of course, you choose the degree of creativity of each slide show- from plain slide transition to extremely fancy.
Photo collections (albums) usually can only be viewed on computers with the appropriate type of optical drive (e.g., you must have a DVD drive in your computer to view photos stored on a data DVD). Slide Shows saved in executable format on a disk (either CD or DVD) can only be played on a computer. Slide Shows saved as DVD movies should be viewable on most home and/or computer DVD systems and will include an interactive Menu and, in most cases, Chapter marks for each "slide".
Additional copies, up to a maximum of 20, of the final product (DVD or CD) may be purchased at $3 per CD copy and $7 per DVD copy. Raven Multimedia may not keep any copies of the disks produced after they are shipped to the customer.
Note: Customer supplied music for slide shows must be in the form of a commercially purchased audio CD.
